The privacy of your data is a big deal to us. With Cashzilla, your financial data never leaves your device.

This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and your rights.

What stays on your device

All of your financial data - accounts, transactions, categories, balances, transfers, everything - is stored locally on your device using an offline database. None of it is transmitted to us or to any server. We have no cloud sync, no user accounts, no login, and no way to see what you're tracking.

If you uninstall Cashzilla, that data is gone. We can't recover it because we never had it.

What we collect

Product analytics. By using Cashzilla, you agree to the collection of basic, anonymous usage data such as which screens are visited, which features are used, and general app performance metrics. This helps us understand what's working and what needs fixing. We inform you of this when you first open the Service.

What analytics never include:

Crash reports. If Cashzilla crashes, anonymous diagnostic data may be sent to help us fix bugs. This contains technical information about the error, not your financial data.

What we don't do

We don't sell data. We don't buy data. We don't profile you. We don't serve ads. We don't track you across apps or websites.

Third-party services

Our analytics provider, PostHog, processes the anonymous usage data described above. They are bound by their own privacy policy and do not receive any of your financial information.

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, we believe you have the right to:
